Tessa and Dave invited me to their adorable home in Lincoln, Nebraska to photograph this milestone – their first baby. Dave played the guitar for Tessa, they sipped coffee together (Tessa and I discussed how tough it is/will be to not drink a million cups of coffee everyday while being pregnant), they snuggled their dogs and danced in the living room. I know their daughter will love seeing her mom and dad’s house where they first brought her home!

I love photographing in-home sessions because they allow you to just be you. To do the things you love doing together. The everyday things.
