You know these years are flying by, even on the long days. You want photos that feel like your real life. I photograph families, maternity, and motherhood with young kids in a very child-led, low-pressure way… because I’m a mom too and I get it! No stiff posing or forced smiles here. We’ll move, play, explore, snuggle, and do things your kids actually love—whether that’s baking at home, wandering your favorite trail, or hanging out somewhere that already means something to your family. I’ll help guide you with styling and ideas, but the heart of the session is letting your kids be themselves. These photos aren’t about perfection; they’re about remembering how this season felt. I promise, family photos don’t have to be stressful or stuffy to be meaningful!

My home base is a little mountain town in northern Wyoming named Story. Cute, right?! It’s right in between Sheridan and Buffalo.
I’m originally from Nebraska (GBR) and spend a lot of time shooting and hanging out there as well.

This year I’m focusing more on local sessions, but may be adding some travel along the way, so be sure to reach out or check out my travel page to see if I’m able to come to your area!

SHOOTING STYLE / I take a creative, journalistic approach to my photos. I like to look for those little in-between moments that make your connection and quirks as a family so special.
EDITING STYLE / I try to keep my edits true to real life, but with a touch of warmth. I want your images to be a representation of how the moment actually looked and felt.

Typically for family sessions, my turnaround time is 2–4 weeks.
If you need your photos by a certain date, just let me know and I can make sure you have the photos you need.

Family sessions can really vary based on the length of the session and number of people. For mini sessions, I typically deliver around 40 images, and for full sessions, around 100, ballpark.

Trust me when I say almost everyone feels this way! Just scroll through my website and take comfort in knowing probably 90% of these people have never had professional photos taken before and they were worried about being awkward—and look at how good their photos turned out!
I have a method of giving prompts and direction that feels natural. You'll be surprised how easy and FUN it is to get your photos taken!
