Save $$$ on Postage by Sending Digital Save the Dates

For our own wedding, we decided to pass on the traditional Save the Date card or magnet and opt for something a little more cost effective.

A digital save the date allowed us to skip on printing and postage costs, while still giving our guests a heads up of when this shindig was going down. I created a custom design for us (yes, I'm also a graphic designer!) that looked like your typical save the date but instead of printing them, we left it on the computer and emailed / Facebooked them to family and friends.
