To be honest, this was one of the most emotional, love-filled, Spirit-lead wedding days I've ever witnessed. You could hear it in the way people talked about Blake and Amy and their relationship, you could see it in the interactions and you could feel it when there wasn't a dry eye in the room during their vows. Not even a rained out ceremony could ruin the day! They made the decision to go for it and have the ceremony outdoors like they planned, even though the forecast wasn't looking good. The rain came, and the ceremony was moved into Glacial Till Vineyard's lower room. Family and friends filed in and shook off their umbrellas. The room filled and the wedding party got back into place at the front of the room. The whispers and excitement from the sudden thunderstorm quieted and the ceremony continued. Every eye in the room became misty or swelled with tears as Blake and Amy exchanged vows. It was an honor to document, and my hope is that these images captured even a fraction of the love that was felt by everyone that day.
