When Kim reached out to me about photographing their traditional Vietnamese Morning Tea Ceremony I was so excited! It was my first time experiencing this type of wedding ceremony and I loved it! The Tea Ceremony was held in the bride’s family home in Lincoln, Nebraska where everyone gathered and brought gifts for the couple. My favorite part was how family members had time to congratulate the couple and share a cup of tea with them during the ceremony. After the ceremony finished, family gathered in the kitchen to prepare lunch, nay - a feast - for all the guests. Once lunch wrapped up, we headed out to Roca Berry Farm for an American style wedding at the Creekside Event Barn. You’ll see in the photos how beautifully they decorated everything - the florist, iBloom, knocked it out of the park! It was a pretty chilly October day but the wedding party made the most of it and had a ton of fun taking photos. This was definitely a wedding to remember!
