Intimate Iceland Elopement

Iceland is the most captivating place I’ve ever been.

James and Brandi had originally planned on having an intimate wedding back home in Nebraska, but decided to just go for it and plan their dream Iceland elopement.

Brandi did an absolutely incredible job styling the dinner table tucked in their cozy Airbnb just outside of Borgarnes, Iceland. After getting everything set up, James and Brandi went to separate cabins to get ready for the day.

From there, they headed towards Reykjavík to say their vows. David, the videographer, and I found a secluded area for their private vow reading. Surrounded by only their immediate families, James and Brandi shared words of love and affirmation with each other in a truly beautiful and meaningful ceremony. Afterwards, they celebrated with confetti canons (eco-friendly, of course)!

For portraits, we drove to Skógafoss waterfall. It was my absolute favorite waterfall I visited while in Iceland! I highly recommend it, and you have to make the trek up the stairs! Yes, it’s worth it. As the sun slowly tucked away, we hiked through the mist and James and Brandi were able to let go and soak up every last second of their elopement day. It was perfect in every way.
